This place is a fantastic choice for a trip, offering superior accommodations with excellent facilities and a great location in the local area.

Everything was really good, attentive stuff, absolutely stunning views at the castle. The room was outstanding and light with a hair dryer, a bidet, and a magnifying mirror in the separate bathroom. Location : the hotel was near an interconnected Bar/Restaurant that closes at 22h30, the mountains and the Roman bridge crossing the river to the town. Ate at Restaurante Rosi, it's around 10-15 minutes walk from the venue...

Overall it was perfectly clean with a terrace.

It was a lovely hotel to stay in with helpful staff, lovely rooms and a good restaurant, with fabulous views from our window of the castle and the town.

The standard twin room was modern and brand-new, which was great.

The hotel offers good value for money , it is comfortable and very clean and is in an ideal location for those wishing to explore the Serra de Gredos region.

Was not impressed with the breakfast, suggest this could be improved.

Reception excellent. Bar was closed and we served ourselves from Cafeteria where the two drink measures (wine and a beer) were too small! Evening buffet was of average quality but reasonable value. Room very comfortable and well appointed. Continental Breakfast would have been improved with fresh expressos rather than from a large catering pot. A piece of fruit on the table is normally available? We will return but would like to find improvements in the catering

Friendly staff here! the rooms are spacious and spotless, offering a lovely view of the village. They come with a comfy double bed, cozy armchairs, all for a price of £67. the service is very warm and inviting. 😊

The bedroom was very spacious and the bathroom was compact but had everything you need.

The Real de Barco is ideally set for visiting El Barco de Ávila.On arrival we found that the receptionist could not speak English but we got by eventually. The rooms are well appointed and if you can get a room to the rear of the hotel there are splendid views of the castle, mountains and the river.The restaurant looks quite good but there is no English translation so unless you speak Spanish you will need a translation book.The town is well within walking distance.
